ILSC Update
I am happy to report that the program is coming together very well, with sessions filling and overflow spilling into the Poster Presentation Gallery.
Although the Advance Program is still about a month away, I can report that Dr. Daniel Hammer, Deputy Director of the Division of Physics (DP) in the Office of Science and Engineering Laboratories (OSEL), CDRH/FDA will be one of the speakers in the Opening Plenary Session. Speaking on Regulatory Science and Laser Safety Research at the FDA, this presentation will be a primer on the FDA’s device review process, an overview of laser safety research at OSEL/DP, and will highlight areas where device laser safety may become more problematic in the future.
